Vi har fået påbud fra kommunen om, at vi ikke længere må spille højt til koncerter - i praksis vil vi ikke længere kunne spille livemusik, hvilket er grundlaget for vores driftstøtte og eksistens.

Nabobygningen er opført med utilstrækkelig lydisolering, og under byggeriet advarede vi om, at det kunne føre til problemer, og det er nu gået i opfyldelse.

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

Hvad så Ålleren party people er I klar til en af de store drenge? Riddim Night kan med ikke så lidt stolthed I stemmen præsentere reggae hot shot, Mr. Williams, London, England. Mr. Williams slog igennem big time da han i 2008 udgav ”Babylon in Helicopter”. Singlen strøg ind på diverse hitlister i USA og Tyskland og den efterfølgende single "No Cigarette" skabte tilsvarende fame i Japan og England. Det er ikke ofte, at den slags tung-skyts rammer bette Åller, så det gælder om at være på plads til den her.

Til at sætte gang i løjerne har vi Raggatech Sound, det mest aktive soundsystem i Aalborg med Dj Poo og Dj Drecon. Derudover De Grønne Lejesvende, som du naturligvis lytter hver mandag formiddag på universitetsradioen. For ganske nyligt røg de i finalen til ”Chill i Parkens” fødselsdags-ipod-battle, så de er brandvarme for tiden.

Mr.Williamz emerged onto the reggae scene in 2008 with his debut single "Babylon in Helicopter" (Produced by Necessary Mayhem) which reached No1 in the U.S singles charts, No2 in the German reggae charts and charted No 15 in the German reggae charts of the year 2008.

This lead to Mr.Williamz being honored by the BBC as the UK artiste of the year 2008. He has since released his follow up single "N o Cigarette" which features on The Biggest Reggae Anthems 2009 (Greensleeves CD). Then the "Real General" single which reached No1 in Japan reggae singles charts, with current singles "Better Meds" & "London" also doing very well, Mr.Williamz is fast proving to be one of the most promising artiste out of London,UK
