AHNA’s sound is unique in that it incorporates elements of power-violence and drone. This pure mixture of atonal dissonance is disorienting, almost as though you’re surrounded by this noise. It revolves around the core feelings of anger, hate, and pain. Belted out vocals are an acquired taste, really, but this album is able to deliver musically as well.
ISKRA has been going for ten years, released over ten records on numerous underground labels including Profane Existence(U.S.A), Agipunk(ITALY), Threat to Existence(U.S.A), Blood Spit(Russia), as well as on their own label Black Raven Records.
ISKRA has toured extensively throughout North America, and also Europe in 2005, playing over 400 shows including many DIY festivals.
ISKRA is active in the anarchist underground cultural movement. They own and operate a volunteer run metal/punk record and book store(since 2007), they promote shows for anarchist bands, and release records on our own label. Aside from cultural activity, ISKRA is also involved in everyday anarchist politics.
Kollapse are a three piece from Aalborg. They grew out of frustration, disease and struggle. Having to face every day feeling powerless and numb - kollapse are catharsis. They have their feet planted firmly in the tradition of bands like the Unsane, Lack and His Hero is Gone but constantly strive to sculpt a unique form from this musical legacy.
