BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Documentary Evening:
Punk The Early Years

Late 70's punk documentary including tracks by the Sex Pistols, Generation X and Billy Idol.

This fascinating film, shot in 1977-78, documents the early days of the Punk Rock phenomenon. From its beginnings on London's pub rock circuit to UK chart domination, Punk The Early Years has it all! Includes performances from Sex Pistols, X Ray Spex, Generation X, The Slits, Siouxsie Sioux, Marc Bolan,The Adverts, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Billy Idol, Poly Styrene and many more! Also includes extensive interviews, including the last-ever with Marc Bolan.

Review:

“Up til now nothing happened,” says Jordan, a punk-rocker chick with amazing spiky hair and red makeup all over her face. “The 70’s was shaping up to be the most boring decade ever.” A British tabloid headline screams “TV Fury at Rock-Cult Filth!” as the editor of punk-mag Zig Zag mumbles, “I was top gauge in that school as far as the bla bla went!” or something.

This is how “PUNK: The Early Years” shapes up, a documentary made in 1978 about the emergence of punk as a national and international force for fucked-up behaviour and scary fashion. We hear from record executives, young fans, the rockers themselves, with live performances from the Adverts, X-Ray Spex, Generation X (including a young, hot and pre-lame Billy Idol), the Slits and others.
