BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

Moments

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

Forsalgsbillet: Tryk her!

The Mind Flowers are good news for all freaks and mutineers of the old world order. This psychedelic rock trio from Copenhagen excels at combining garage and psychedelia with an underlying love of melancholic blues.

A wise woman once said: “If I can’t dance, it’s not my revolution.” Fortunately there is plenty of dancing, lust and love in The Mind Flowers’ universe. You are hereby invited to shake everything you got!

Their contribution to the coming insurrection is delivered as a mix of psychedelic rock, beat and garage in the classic trio format. The sound is heavily inspired by the exploratory rock music of the 60s (such as 13th Floor Elevators, Hendrix and The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band). However, The Mind Flowers mainly sound like themselves.

The Roaring 420s is mixing surf rock with psychedelia and the result is wonderful release that came out a few months ago on Stoned Karma Records titled "What Is Psych?" .. And they truly nailed it. 60s, summer, California, sitar and girls, that like to party!

Blending surf rock and late 60s pre-Punk into Eastern psychedelia, The Roaring 420s from Dresden, Germany, rather sound like an obscure little gem discovered at a garage sale in California. Roughly located somewhere between The Beach Boys and The Velvet Underground, they’re bursting out with twangy guitars, groovin' organ and an electric sitar!
