Vi har fået påbud fra kommunen om, at vi ikke længere må spille højt til koncerter - i praksis vil vi ikke længere kunne spille livemusik, hvilket er grundlaget for vores driftstøtte og eksistens.

Nabobygningen er opført med utilstrækkelig lydisolering, og under byggeriet advarede vi om, at det kunne føre til problemer, og det er nu gået i opfyldelse.

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Moments

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

WHIMM

WHIMM from Toronto Canada, is Mounir Chami, Andrew Matthews and Jonathan Pappo and has evolved from the world of no wave and post punk into something more spectral. Dissonant guitars ring through minimal electronics and weave through noise, before dissolving into spiritual exploration. Their pulsing drum machines are home for the late hours of the night while their ballads peak through and tend to a quieter storm. All anchored by the voice of Chami, whose Palestinian heritage plays a great role in the themes behind the lyrics, which dive deep into a sharp and emotional core.

Since their inception in 2014, they have toured North America and Europe multiple times over, released an LP "A Stare Ajar" and 2 EPs "Receptors" and "Not My Kind" and are currently recording their next release.



CANVAS.

CANVAS. spiller melodisk indie rock, med et twist af jangle pop. Setup'et er ovenud klassisk med guitarer, trommer, bas og vokal.
CANVAS. udgav den 17. august 2018 deres debutudgivelse, EP'en "Finding It". Bandets ambition er at byde lytteren velkommen i et mangfoldigt univers, af ungdommelig naivitet, der både omfatter det eftertænksomme, refleksive univers, kombineret med det ubekymrede, glædesfyldte univers. I deres stræben på at opnå denne ambition søger CANVAS. både at provokere publikum, med aggression og udadfarende rocksange, og samtidigt at røre lytterne med atmosfæriske sjælere.



LITASHEPA

"Litashepa har base i Aalborg, og består af Vincent Stead, Malthe Mikkelsen, Magnus Damkier og Chris Gaden. Vi er en gruppe fyre, som har fundet sammenhold i musik, som drager fra alt imellem blues rock, surf, post punk og metal i den progressive ende."
