What is no input mixing?
No Input Mixing is a technique where a mixer becomes an instrument by hacking the direction of the signal, feeding back into itself. Its expressive potential is due to the fact that it requires no knowledge but the will to experiment and model how sound behaves; it becomes a reaction-based and intuitive game where the player is called to improvise and dialogue with the machine, grasping the core creativity of electronic music.

What will the workshop be about?
This workshop will consist on an experimental, practical approach with a short theoretical background to this technique. People will be divided in groups of two for each mixer. There will be a collective jam in the end if everyone's ok with it :)

Time: from 17:00
Duration: around 3 hours

After the workshop we will do a jam session all together at the 1000fryd stage!

If you have a mixer, jack cables and Pedals/ Audio effects you can bring it :)
