Jack lives in near total isolation, spending his days with television, simple diner meals, and church bingo. He keeps people at a distance and relies on a strict routine that leaves little room for anything unexpected. When hired thugs suddenly target him, the quiet structure he depends on begins to fall apart. Their intrusion pulls Jack into unwanted trouble and forces hidden parts of his life to surface. The film unfolds as a darkly humorous look at a man who has tried to disappear from the world, only to be pulled back into it against his will.
