A once-quiet island community hoping to boost tourism with a flashy spring break celebration gets far more excitement than anyone bargained for when a bizarre prehistoric predator begins tearing through the beach. Unlike ordinary sharks, these bloodthirsty creatures can swim through dry sand as easily as water, turning crowded shorelines, boardwalks, and beach parties into scenes of outrageous chaos. As skeptical locals, clueless officials, and a handful of unlikely heroes scramble to understand what they are dealing with, the town finds itself trapped in a knowingly over-the-top battle against a creature feature nightmare that embraces every bit of its absurd B-movie spirit.
