We are very happy to invite you to the third and last Rebel Roots of the season, taking place the 9th of May.

After the visit of Tribe 84 last month, it felt right to focus this time on the local talent, which will keep you dancing all night long.

The night will continue with Diego at the decks, delivering as usual a solid selection of reggae music. For those who know him, he has been collecting records for the last 20 years and he has strong devotion to the cultural roots sound from the 70s, although you can expect a music journey across all decades and continents.

Throughout the evening, local reggae rapper Dikta 2re will be performing live on the mic. In a world filled with malicious dictators, there is fortunately one who takes a very different path. When it comes to reggae and rap music in Aalborg, Dikta 2re is far from an unknown name. His musical style is characterized by self-written lyrics in Danish, while his flow blends with a distinctive Jamaican vibe and style. His lyrics span a wide range, covering everything from simple songs about peace and cannabis to more serious topics such as the struggle with depression and faith in Rastafari. Dikta 2re sentences you all to eternal love and good vibes!
