BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

Moments

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

The paperbacks (can) + Bought landings (lok)

The Paperbacks har eksisteret siden 2000, udgivet LPen "An Episode of Sparrows" i 2003.

Frisk fra pres er deres EP "The Cold Caught a Breeze".

"....With everything containing a touch of emotion getting lumped into the increasingly crowded "emo" genre, most often for financial reasons, it it nice to hear a sincere, refined indie sound and not see the word "emo" anywhere in he bio. The Paperbacks' debut LP is a very passionate and emotional record without being stereotypical. It's clear in the songwriting that the band leans heavily on its intricate indie-rock and pop influences. Doug McLean, formerly of The Bonaduces, writes some of the purest and truest lyrics and finds a way to deliver them with wholehearted conviction. The songs are all rather mellow, relying on the rhythm section and the piano for variety, while McLean's vocals supply the driving force. The more I listen to this record, the more I am reminded of the early Anniversary releases and the recent New Amsterdams record. For the most part, The Paperbacks have released an album unlike anything you've heard in a long time, and it's really, really good..."
