Desperado (n) + Traktor (s)
+ Sound OE (s)

How can a band manage to play rather noisy hardcore (Abhinanda meets JR Ewing), and behind that façade of chaos still have a melancholy current? That’s really well done. It’s not just that Refused like anger they need to get out, but they seem to be much more about personal issues and incorporate that in their lyrics. Their words are just like their music not easy to understand, only now printed in ink for all to read. That same feeling of sadness, chaos and anger shines through. You’re riding a wave that can carry a really fragile load to a massive orgy of noise. It’s just like I have written for a few other records, even if they might sound totally different to this band. This is hardcore you can almost touch; maybe the fact they have recorded the whole thing on analogue equipment has helped them. Never thought about that aspect of our beloved scene. You need to get close to a band, slick production is cold and distant and there’s hardly a heartbeat. This band stands for the important, smaller things in live. Cherish them. Martijn Welzen lade
