Tschilp er et tre-kvinde højt band fra Hamburg. Med iørefaldende melodier og smukke kvæd leverer de en skøn blanding af poppede melodier og impulsive og distortede fragmenter. Blød og dejligt kræs for ørene.

Silencio er en mix imellem ambient electronics og instrumentalt postrock. Deres andet album Grünezeit er udgivet på Carte Postals records. En fransk duet giver den gas med ambient lydlanskeber i en dejlig behagelig atmosfære.
Zero Degre var oprindelig et elesctronisk solo-projekt, men er efterhånden udvidet med et live backing band. Et skønt mix imellem post-rock, electronica og introperspektivt spoken words. Trumme, guitar, et ord hist og her og melodier som snefnug uden for ruden.

tschilps music is impulsive and distorted or sad and fragile and leaves the audience with their images tschilp concerts are charmingly introverted but nevertheless are tschilp grounded without proving a rock attitude or something tschilp behave outside of a consense prejudices return to the listeners.
often we were announced as (female band/band with women) whatfor brackets? for us there is no such thing as THE (female band) and if, we want to decompose this image (female band) as a description maybe wants to define the possible gender of the musicians but doesnt say anything about the music. but that these brackets do appear is also a sign for the excepting position of (women) on stages outside of pop music or as visual side show effect- the tschilp concerts of the past two years were besides short tours with 6o stories (from canada) karl-heinz (from hamburg) and 99 (from australia) also at ladyfest / Amsterdam / nl and at queerfestiwal / Warszawa / poland ladyfest and queer events are turning around these situations of being anormal. feminism stays cool, as long as it stays in process. as we want the brackets to be abolished, we work with the definition (female band) in necessary situations. tschilp is for listening and we do like birds!
