Vi har fået påbud fra kommunen om, at vi ikke længere må spille højt til koncerter - i praksis vil vi ikke længere kunne spille livemusik, hvilket er grundlaget for vores driftstøtte og eksistens.

Nabobygningen er opført med utilstrækkelig lydisolering, og under byggeriet advarede vi om, at det kunne føre til problemer, og det er nu gået i opfyldelse.

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

THIS EXHIBITION IS NOT QUITE LIKE OTHERS. THIS ONE IS PRETTY QUEER! With a mix of humour, seriousness, hope and fun we will examine the relationships between gender, sexuality and identity. We will attempt to challenge the opinions you already hold.

A bio-drag queen performance using self-created audio playback. Performing queer femininity on stage, playing with camp/trash and mixed object playbacks, Sir La Muse will inspire you to find your inner drag queen as well!

Queer9000 is a DIY (do-it-yourself) and non-profit event.

It is a non-sexist and non-racist festival.

It is about making a space for creativity and critical thoughts. A way of challenging mainstream culture and gender stereotypes.

We welcome transsexuals, transgenders, homosexuals, bisexuals, androgynous people, butches, femmes, crossdressers, them who dont identify and you make the list longer; anyone questioning gender stereotypes and existing categories in society.

We would like to invite everyone to come and be a part of creating the festival. Anything is possible; participating is what makes things happen!
