BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

The band's repertoire includes both uplifting tracks with catchy melodies and heavier shoegaze-inspired numbers, while also making room for poignant ballads about life.

TELUS navigates the terrain between post-punk, alternative, and pop, with emotive vocals gliding over hard-hitting drums, captivating bass and guitar riffs, and atmospheric soundscapes. They touch upon life's ups and downs from a youthful perspective in this fleeting age.
The five young men crossed paths at a provincial high school in Northern Jutland, where the group was created.
The release of the debut EP, "Love Songs For Strangers," signifies a pivotal moment for TELUS.
Following a journey through Denmark's music scenes and countless hours in a dim rehearsal space, the band proudly announces the EP's release date: September 15, 2023.

This release truly marks TELUS' entrance onto the music scene, promising a refined collection of songs delving into the tumultuous and meaningful relationships that characterize youth in today's transitory era.

Singles such as 'Apart', 'Is There Something Ironic in That?', and the soon-to-be-released 'Neon Lights' have already paved the way for the EP's arrival, garnering praise from outlets like Bands of
Tomorrow, who described them as "candidates to bring post-punk back to A-rotation." The German publication Good Because Danish drew lyrical parallels to Joy Division. With a sound that marries nostalgic references with contemporary innovation, TELUS has crafted a work that explores complex emotions – from the exhilarating moments of love and revelry to the more shadowy facets of doubt, heartache, and mental well-being.
